What customers say
Martin worked on the restoration and refurbishment of our Victorian house, 4 Wallands Crescent, Lewes, from when we bought it in August 2011 to February 2012. Martin is an excellent electrician with a wide range of knowledge which has meant he has been able to undertake a complete rewire of our house in a manner that kept the Victorian character of the house intact. We have had a wide range of light fittings installed that has included chandeliers. These need considerable care in hanging securely. Martin knows other skilled electricians and has when required been able to call in additional manpower. Martin has a really pleasant attitude and always worked hard to provide solutions acceptable to us. I recommend Martin to anyone wanting quality, competitively priced work.
I would recommend Martin Hughes to anyone who needs a good electrician. He is thorough, methodical and his work is very good. He came to our rescue when we were let down and needed an electrician asap. He came out to us within the hour so we gave him the job for our new property and we are very pleased with our complete rewire.
Martin has carried out a lot of electrical work at our present property and also our previous property. He is reliable, professional and tidy and showed a tremendous amount of customer care. We found his fees to be extremely competitive and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician.
When it comes to the electrical side of my business, Hughes Electrical never fails to deliver, providing a competitive and reliable service, an eye for detail and solutions to any electrical problem. They keep to schedule and never let me down, whether it is a 4 storey townhouse re wire, new build or a small electrical fault , Hughes Electrical covers them all, so much so I won't use anyone else.
I am writing to say thank you for the electrical work which you did in my garage and fuseboard. You did a fantastic job and I would recommend you to anybody who asked me for an electrician. You were also willing to go the extra yard to help with some other jobs.

About this preview
A taste of the direction, not the finished site
Fully Booked built this one page from what Hughes Electrical already publishes on mhugheselectrical.co.uk: the services list, the accreditations, the five testimonials, the logo, and the job and van photos from the firm's own Flickr gallery. It's meant to show how the site could feel on a phone, with every number one tap away.
The finished site would keep your own pages:
- Home
- About Us
- Services
- Testimonials
- Gallery
- Contact Us
- Your own photography throughout — the photos here are the firm's 2012 Flickr set, standing in until newer pictures are supplied.
- Every service written up in full, not just listed.
- A working quote request in place of the sample picker above, sending straight to Martin's phone.
- The whole site on your own domain, mhugheselectrical.co.uk.
Placeholders on this page: the photo captions are our descriptions of what each picture shows, the service groupings are ours, and the quote picker sends nothing.
